Charles Lewis Dudding

Charles Lewis Dudding, 89, of Chester, VA, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Born in Covington, VA, he was the son of the late Zelotis Odell and Lola Lochart Dudding. Mr. Dudding faithfully served his country and retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and was a member of the Fleet Reserve. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Doris Ann Dudding; one daughter, Vicky Lynn Talley (Pete); a grandson, Lewis Talley (Jeanette); and one great-granddaughter, Isabella Michelle Talley. A funeral service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
