Charles Dean Holland

Charles Dean Holland, 74, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Born in Gaston, NC he was the son of the late Furman and Willie Holland; and was also preceded in death by his eight siblings. Mr. Holland was a United States Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was the owner and operator of A. Holland Upholstery Inc. in Hopewell since 1976. Dean had a love for sports and enjoyed playing and coaching many different sports throughout his lifetime. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Andrea D. Holland; a daughter, Dee Ann Carter; a granddaughter, Brittany Ann Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West End Christian School, 1600 Atlantic St., Hopewell, VA 23860 in memory of Mr. Holland.
