Charles Jr. Ashworth

Charles Stanwood Ashworth, Jr., 59, passed away at his home in February, 2006. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Charles Stanwood Ashworth, Sr. and Gertrude Duncan Ashworth. Charles was an Electronics Expert in computers; was a member of the NRA; attended Oak Grove United Methodist Church; and was the proud recipient of a heart transplant twenty years ago. Mr. Ashworth is survived by his sisters, Jean Aune of Detroit, Michigan, Joan Catalan of Royal Oak, Michigan, and Patricia Parker of Courtland, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Jerusalem Plank Rd., Waverly, with the Rev. Connie Gibbs officiating.
