Charles Kendrick

Charles Edward Kendrick, 80, of Hopewell, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 in Retreat Hospital, Richmond. He was born in Hopewell. Mr. Kendrick served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired plastics operator with Allied-Signal Corp.. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie E. and Effie Dalton Kendrick and his wife, Reiko V. Kendrick. Surviving are a daughter, Karen M. Blaha of Chestefield, two sons, Craig E. Kendrick of Richmond and Keith E. Kendrick of Chesterfield, six grandchildren , six great-grandchildren, a brother, Ronald D. Kendrick of Farmville, three sisters, Louise R. Whitaker of Zephyrhills, Fl., Carolyn Martin of Chesterfield County and Rosalyn Huddleston of Farmville. Services and interment will be private.
