Charles Phillip Mcanally

April 9, 1933 — May 28, 2022

Charles "Charlie" P. McAnally, 89, of Prince George County, Virginia went to his Heavenly home on May 28, 2022. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Antognozzi and her husband Joe; his son Christian McAnally; his granddaughter, Tiffany Rohrbaugh and her husband Jared; his sister Betty Meador; and several nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his wife, Valbruna.
Charlie spent 34 years in the US Military and retired in 1985 as Sergeant Major in the US Army. He enjoyed traveling the US with his late wife Valbruna. He was an avid Nascar fan and could often be found chatting with his buddies at the Hopewell VFW.
He will be remembered as the most honest, compassionate, and selfless husband, father, and grandfather and will be tremendously missed by his loved ones, especially his daughter who was very close to him.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior, at 10:00 am at the Hopewell Chapel - J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA 23860 followed by interment at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens in Prince George. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
