Charles Preston Pickering

Charles Preston Pickering 71, of Chester, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood W. Pickering Sr.; his mother Ruth Pickering Cox; his wife Peggy A. Pickering; his brother Elwood W. Pickering Jr.; and his step-father, Russell James Cox Sr. Charles is survived by his daughters, Melissa Anderson and her husband, Mark, Crystal Pickering; grandchildren, Dylan, Trevor, Zachary; sister, Peggy Pickering Bolster; brother, Russell James Cox Jr.; brother in law, Bob Nicely; his favorite companion, Trixie Gayle; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday February 7, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
