Charles Schaaf

Charles Schaaf â??Sparkyâ? 77, of Petersburg died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Raymond H. and Amanda McGee Schaaf. He was preceded in death by his wife Paula B. Schaaf and daughters Carol Ann Schaaf and Baby Girl Schaaf. He served in the Korean War of the U.S. Army, was a retired conductor for the CSX Railway and was a member of the American Legion Post #2. He is survived by two sons, Todd Schaaf and wife, Tammy and Craig Schaaf and wife, Bonnie; grandchildren, Christopher and Kyle; step-grandchildren, Vince and Tyler; friends, Helen Leonard, Clint Harvell, Dotey McGee and Bill Priddy. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
