Charles Sr. Elliott

Charles Wesley Elliott, Sr., â??Chuckâ?, age 58, of Chester, VA, died on Saturday, September 8, 2007. He was born in Lynchburg, VA, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the 2nd battalion 4th Marine. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart, and various other combat medals, and had numerous combat wounds from his service to our country. He is survived by a wife, Karen Elliott; 6 children, Tanya Elliott, Dina Elliott-Ramos, Bobbi-Jo Hudson, Charles Elliott, Jr., Callie Elliott, and Joshua Faille; a father, Bobby Rogers; 6 grandchildren, Brittany, Autumn, Cody, Anthony, Caroline, and Ashlee; 2 great grandchildren, Junior and Aven; a brother, Buzzy Elliott; and sister, Shirley Lynch. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Chesterfield on Tuesday, September 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with interment at 2 p.m. in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA.
