Charles H. Stagg Jr.

Charles Henry Stagg, Jr., 76, of Chesterfield, passed away on November 18, 2012. He was the son of the late Charles H., Sr. and Susie E. Willson Stagg, and was also preceded in death by two sisters. Mr. Stagg grew up on Curls Neck Farm in Varina and retired from Thurston Spring Service, INC after 44 years of service. He had three loves in his life and they were his family, racing, and music. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jean Stagg; one daughter, Sarah S. Hummel and husband, Barry; one sister, Anne Wrenn; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chesterfield Animal Shelter.
