Charles Wayne Vreeland

CHARLES WAYNE VREELAND, 57, of Colonial Heights, VA, died Friday, October 29, 2021. Born in Petersburg, VA he was the son of the late Clyde H. Vreeland and Annie Lee Vaughan. He is survived by his fiancée, Linda Holley; daughter, Ashley Ferguson (Michael); brother, Clyde Vreeland (Laurie); nephews, Clyde and Kevin; aunt, Selesa Ruger; and many more nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends. Charles was a volunteer fire fighter for Company #3 in Carson, VA and worked for Food Lion, Inc. for many years. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 103 S. Adams St. Petersburg, VA 23803. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carson Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
