Charles Edward West

Charles Edward West, 70, of N.Chesterfield, VA passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl R. West. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila West; mother, Adelle West; daughters, Charonda West, Ignacia Brockington (Aaron), Charnte Anderson, Joyce Ann Turner, Amy Gonzales, Tatiana Prevette; brothers, Earl West (Gloria), Joseph West (Jermaine), Moses West; sisters, Hattie Brown, Harriet Joyner (Roy); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. Charles was a member of Cedar Street Baptist Church of God in Richmond, VA. Mr. West was a retiree from Chesterfield County Utilities Department with over 35 years of service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Cedar Street Baptist Church of God 2301 Cedar St. Richmond, VA 23223. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
