Charles Grigg Wilson

Charles Grigg Wilson, 81, a longtime resident of Dinwiddie County, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. He was the son of the late Rennie Harrison Wilson and Gertrude Birdsall Wolfrey. He was also preceded in death by his daughters, Roselyn Dale Wilson-Lewis, Patricia Lynn Wilson, and Linda Jewel Wilson Gilliam. Charles was a lifelong member of Smiths Grove United Methodist Church. He worked as an automobile salesman for many years, most of which was at Dinwiddie Auto Sales. He is survived by his wife, Irene W. Wilson; grandchildren, Logan Grigg Gilliam and fiancé, Allison Autrey, and Charles Robert Wilson-Adams; great-grandson, Zane Stewart Gilliam; sisters, Anne Stover and husband, Chuck, and Helen Leonard, as well as numerous niece, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, N. Dinwiddie, VA.
