Charles Bell Woodard

Charles B. Woodard, 88, husband of Joyce S. Woodard, of Church Road, VA, passed away at his home on February 14, 2017. He was born August 12, 1928 in Raleigh, NC to Frank and Pattie Woodard but made his home in Virginia for over 55 years. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Woodard and his parents, all of North Carolina. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Charles L. “CL” Woodard and his wife, Holly, of Raleigh, NC, Pat Woodard and his wife, Nancy, of Apex, NC, and David Woodard and his girlfriend, Lynn Gravitte, of Matoaca, VA; his daughters, Stephanie Cheek and her husband, Billy, of Ford, VA, Shelly Winfrey and her husband, Tim, of Dinwiddie, VA, Brenda Flood and her husband, David, of Raleigh, NC, and Sharon Morgan and her fiancé, Bryce Miller, of Cary, NC. He is also survived by one sister, Nell Woodard, nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren all of North Carolina. At the request of his family, Mr. Woodard will be cremated and no public service will be held.
