Charles Robert Woods

Charles Robert Woods, 90, of Chester, VA, passed away on July 6, 2022. He was the son of the late David Leon Woods and Louise Anderson Woods. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Woods.
Charles was a United States Navy Veteran. He retired after 28 years from Defense General Supply Center as an Engineer. He was a member and elder at Centralia Presbyterian Church and a member of The Gideons International.
Charles is survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia Woods; children, Charlie Woods (Mary), Sharon Critz (Kevin) and Michael Woods (Kelly); and six grandchildren, Chelsea, Heather, Neal, Sarah, Nathan and Leah.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Centralia Presbyterian Church. There will be a visitation beginning one hour prior at the church, and interment to follow at Bermuda Memorial Park.
