Charlotte Andrews

Charlotte Hughes Andrews, 85, of Hopewell, VA left this earth to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Raymond A. Fleetwood; daughter Bonnie Barbini; son, W. Marshall Andrews Jr. (Christine). She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Thelma Hughes; husband, William M. Andrews, Sr.; daughter, Becky F. Salisbury; son, Thomas C. Frazier; brother, Charlie F. Hughes, Jr. Charlotte was employed at the Defense General Supply Center for many years and at the Fort Lee Quartermaster School. She worked for Hopewell Public Schools while attending Richard Bland College. She was the organist at Wesley United Methodist Church for many years and was an accomplished pianist. Charlotte absolutely loved spending time working in her beautiful yard. She was blessed with 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Durham (Dustin), Erin Denning (J.D.); 4 grandsons, Brandon Barbini (Lindsey), Anthony Barbini, Will and Alex Andrews; 7 great grandchildren and a host of many other loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 followed by a funeral service starting at 12:00 P.M. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
