Charlotte Erika Cancino

Charlotte Erika Cancino, 85, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021. Born in Berlin, Germany on April 20, 1936 to the late Gerhardt Burr and Martha Krumper Burr. She was preceded in death by her youngest brother, Hans and oldest brother, Gerhardt, both of whom died during WWII in Berlin. She was also preceded by her sister, Margot; and brothers, Werner and Guenter.
Charlotte completed vocational education in Berlin, Germany and then attended Los Angeles School of Fashion Design in the early 1960s. She married an army soldier and served 39 years as a devoted spouse. In her early career she worked as a seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, painting, crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was much loved and will be dearly missed. She is gone but will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her daughter, Dolores Erika Cancino; grandsons, Anthony Vincent Benge and Christopher Michael Benge; granddaughter, Danielle Erika Benge; great-granddaughter, Brayli Erika Benge; and one remaining sibling, Harry Burr.
