Charlotte Edens Crist

Charlotte Edens Crist, 79, of Chester, VA passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Born in Keokee, VA she was the daughter of the late John Calvin and Martha Belle Edens; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Ray Edens. Mrs. Crist retired from the Chesterfield County Commissioner of Revenue’s office after many years of service. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Crist is survived by her husband of 55 years, David J. Crist; three children, David Wayne Crist and wife, Jody, Jeffrey Homer Crist and wife, Julia and Tammy Crist Steele and husband, Michael; grandchildren, David Crist, Jr. (Lisa), Jordan Crist (Hannah), Joseph and Hunter Crist, Jessica Campbell (Dillon), and Tracy and John Steele; and one brother, Leo Bruce Edens (Mildred). A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA.
