Charlotte Ann Golding

Charlotte Ann Golding, 69, of Chester, VA passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Born in Winchester, VA she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Sr. and Gladys Virginia Leake. She is survived by her son, Dennis L. Golding and fiancée, Lisa Ferrell; a granddaughter, Leslie L. Golding; two sisters, Betty L. Lloyd and Norma L. Malone; a brother, John “Eddie” Leake; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Ann was also preceded in death by four brothers, Herbert Leake, Aubrey Leake, Jr., William Leake and Melvin Leake. She was the former owner/operator of Golding Enterprise Limited and built many houses in Chesterfield County. She enjoyed working in her yard and flower beds, traveling and spending time in the casinos. Ann was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
