Charlotte Ruth Silver, 67, of Hopewell, Virginia died on October 23, 2017. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA on February 5, 1950, and was the daughter of the late Sol and Anna Sharofsky and was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor Green. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Brian Silver; her brother, Martin Sharofsky; sons, Scott Green and Craig Green and his wife, Christina; and grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler and Addison. Charlotte was a very loving and compassionate friend to many. She retired from the Federal Government Defense Logistics Agency, PA. She was a volunteer docent at the Historic Farmers Bank in Petersburg, VA and a volunteer at the Weston Manor. Charlotte was a life member of Hadassah, member, board member and Sisterhood president of Congregation Brith Achim. Charlotte was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. She never missed a game. The funeral will be held graveside at 11:00 A.M., at the Congregation Brith Achim Cemetery, located on S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Wednesday, October 25, 2017.
