Mrs. Charlotte Rawes Tucker, 85, of Chester, VA, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Chippenham Medical Center. Mrs. Tucker was born in Louisville, KY, and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gertrude Rawes, and her husband, Robert Homer Tucker, a son-in- law, Harvey L. Lamb. Survivors include a daughter, Tyra T. Lamb of Chester, sons, Robert H. â??Bobbyâ? Tucker, Jr. of Chester, D. Craig Tucker & wife Jo Anne of Mecklenburg County, and K. Scott Tucker & wife, Donna, of Enon; 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Elsie R. Kissinger, Virginia R. Poppas, Mae R. Lawson all of Richmond, a brother, WilliamC.. Rawes & wife, Barbara of Chesterfield and a sister-in-law, Bernice Rawes of Richmond. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 1 â?? 2 p.m. in the Hopewell chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The procession will leave the funeral home for a 2 :30 p.m. graveside service at the mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
