Charlsie Ellen Matthews

Charlsie Ellen Matthews, 81, of North Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2016. Born in Grayson, VA, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and a son-in-law. Mrs. Matthews is survived by her husband, Thurman L. Matthews; son Michael Matthews; daughters, Brenda Sprouse (Linwood) and Barbara Jordan Blevins (Ronald); seven sisters; three brothers; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlsie was a member of the Kingsland Baptist Church. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 2:00pm at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Chester Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be donated to Kingsland Baptist Church, 8801 Perrymont Rd. Richmond, VA 23237.
