Charmaine Jeffries

Charmaine Dorothy Williams Jeffries, 62, of Colonial Heights, widow of Edward Jerome Jeffries, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 at her residence. Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Thomas Williams and the late Mary Marsh Williams. She was a longtime employee of Riverside Regional Jail. In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Barbara Conner of Texas; sons, Scott Peters of Colonial Heights and Michael Jeffries of Richmond; grandchildren, Marcus Anthony, Amanda, Brandon, and Ethan; sisters, Pat Miller and husband, Micki and Cindy Croft and husband, Eddie; brother, Brian Williams and wife, Patricia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 30, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
