Charmel Dawn Mason

Charmel "Dawn" Mason, 46, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Born in Hopewell, VA she was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Mason; and her brother, Benjamin A. Mason. Dawn is survived by her three children, Benjamin Tyler Mason, Gabriel Mason and Violet Lynch; her mother, Cindy Jones (Willie); father, Stephen Mason; her siblings, April Phillips (Keith), Christopher Mason, Marty Jones (Joy), Christie Jones-Whitby (Russell) and Stephen Mason; her maternal grandparents, Violet Peaks and John Peaks (Connie); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
