Chizum O'Berry

Chizum Beau O?Berry, 26, of Disputanta, died Thursday, July 28, 2005 in MCV Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Mr. O?Berry was born in Anchorage, Alaska. He was a member of the U.S. Army having served in Kuwait with the 499th Quartermaster Co. Mr. O?Berry was a 1997 graduate of Hopewell High School, a member of the school ROTC program and a very talented musician. He is survived by his wife, Megan O?Berry of Disputanta, father, Brad S. O?Berry and his wife Annie of Hopewell, his mother Kellyanne Alston and her husband Christopher of Newport News, one brother, Caolan O?Berry, a sister, Cammie Austin, two step-sisters, Amanda Jacquelin and husband Peter, Crystal Winstead, two step-brothers, Christopher Blackwell, Alton Howell and wife Janseen, paternal grandparents, Alvin and Evelyn O?Berry, maternal grandparents, Sallyanne Crosland and Russell Kunkle and many other family members and friends. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 1, 2005 at 7:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will be private.
