Chris passed on to eternal peace and rest on August 12, 2011 after a period of illness. Her personality and wonderful sneaky little laugh will always be remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by a loving family consisting of her son, Ryan Keith Reese and his partner, Michelle Lynn Justice; her parents, Anne and Jim Pannill; her sister, Shannon P. Barnete and her husband, Edward, and their children, Amber and Megan Pannill; her grandfather, Leonard A. Newman; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday August 15th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service with entombment will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the mausoleum at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chesterfield Humane Society, P.O. Box 2916 Chesterfield, Virginia 23832. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
