Christine Sadler Bryant

Christine Sadler Bryant, 90, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015. She is survived by her sons, Richard E. Bryant, Jr., (Barbara), James R. Bryant (Sherri); a daughter, Lindy B. Durham (Jim); grandchildren, Rob Bryant (Sharon), Mark Bryant (Tonya), Nicholas Bryant, Jake Bryant, Christie Durham and Thomas Durham; great-grandchildren, Robbie (Katie) and Emma Bryant; a sister, Barbara Ferguson; and a host of extended family and friends. Mrs. Bryant retired with over 30 years of service from the Colonial Heights Public School System. Christine was also a lifelong member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Bryant was a very accomplished seamstress, avid reader, walker and “surfer” of the internet. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com .
