Christine Matney

Christine Belcher Matney, 85 of Colonial Heights died Sunday, March 14, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Thomas and Ethel Sullivan Belcher. She was preceded in death by her sister Inez B. Wright. She is survived by her son, Thomas F. Matney of Richmond; granddaughter, Nicole M. Boehm and husband Nathan of Chester; grandson, Eric A. Matney of Colonial Heights; great-granddaughter, Taylor R. Boehm of Chester; sister, Catherine B. Whitehurst of Colonial Heights; three nephews, Jerry Wright and wife Anne of Colonial Heights; Kenny Whitehurst of Chester and Bobby Whitehurst and wife Rachel of Colonial Heights; devoted friend, Denise Matney. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
