Christine Minton

Christine Biggs â??Fidgyâ? Minton, 89, of Petersburg, widow of Everett A. Minton, Sr., passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Florence Wells Biggs. A member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Petersburg, she was a former employee at Fort Lee and a retired employee of the Petersburg Post Office. Mrs. Minton is survived by her son, Everett â??Peteâ? Minton, Jr. of Midlothian; daughter, Cheryl Hooper of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Jason Minton, Katie Sicard, Rachel Schrinel, and Sarah Moore; great-grandchildren, Caroline Sicard, Parker Baxter, and Abram Schrinel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 12th, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
