Christopher Shawn Barron

Christopher Shawn Barron, 46, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020. Born in Richmond, VA he was the son of the late Charles Edward Barron; and was also preceded in death by a brother, David Weese. Chris enjoyed playing baseball and football and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He never met a stranger and had a love for being around children. Chris is survived by his son, Cody Shawn Barron; his mother, Diana B. Shafer; two sisters, Dawn May and Crystal Walters; two brothers, James Shafer, Jr. and Charlie Barron; his step-father, James Shafer, Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
