Christopher F. Goad

Christopher â??Chrisâ? Floyd Goad, Sr., 67, of Dinwiddie, VA passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Elmer Otis Goad, Sr. and Viola Lee Totty Goad. Chris retired from Benjamin Moore Paint Company after 20 years of dedicated service. He was a loving husband, wonderful father, and loved his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Chris was a very gentle soul who loved hunting, fishing, gardening and working with wood. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Edith L. Goad; son, Chris F. Goad Jr., and his wife Lisa, Robert L. Goad and his wife, Stephanie , daughter, Crystal G. Henshaw and her husband, Darryl , thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren all of Dinwiddie, sisters Nancy Wells of Chesterfield and Diane Craft and husband, Sam of Lynchburg. A graveside service will be held on Monday May 14, 2012, 11:00 AM, in Southlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Graham Patterson of Medi Home Health & Hospice Care officiating.
