Christopher Bryan King

Christopher Bryan King, 54, of Colonial Heights, VA, died peacefully at his home on November 12, 2018. He is survived by his extensive family and many caring friends. Although born with Cerebral Palsy, Chris never let his disability determine his fate. His welcoming presence, independent spirit and mischievous sense of humor quickly made friends wherever he went. A graduate of L. C. Bird High School, Chris left the safety of home for James Madison University, where he made many lifelong friends. Upon graduation, his ever cheerful attitude him made a treasured teammate at work. In order to honor the joyful way that Chris led his life, a celebration of his life will be held in the spring when we will be better able share the happiness he brought to the world. Details will be shared at a later date. He always was “a party waiting to happen”.
