Cicero Thomas Nash, 92,of Hopewell Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 19,2020.He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Nash, parents Verna B. & Nellie B. Nash, Brothers; Clyde Bowyer, Jessie Nash, Sister; Doris Boling, Nephew; Louis Nash, grandchildren; Phillip Nash, Derek Nash.
Cicero is survived by his sons; William (Bill) Nash ( Jessica), Stephen Nash (Julie), James Hall (Trish), and Mary Nash.
grandchildren; Robby, Stephen ll, Heather,Michelle,( Jonathan),David (Kaylee), and Tosh. great grandchildren; Madisyn, Chelsea,Hayden,Brendon,Hunter. Sister in law; Juanita Nash of New Market, Indiana along with Nieces and nephews, sister Mary Macintosh of Charlestown, Indiana
In his early life he served in the Army, came to Hopewell in 1957 to work at Defense General Supply Center; (retired) and went to work at American Auto Parts of Hopewell (retired).
He was caretaker of his wife Margaret for the past 8 years. He loved working on just about anything and 9 times out of 10 it was fixed.
He was a member of Rivermont Church of Christ where he was Treasurer for many years.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 3:00pm to 6:00p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Hopewell Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences can be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com
