Clara Mae Adams

Clara Adams, age 77, of Chester, VA passed away on, Tuesday, Oct. 24th, 2017. She was born June 12, 1940 to the late Sylves Clevenger and Ruth McClure Schar in Weller, Ohio. She found pleasure in spending time in her yard with her four legged friend Pumpkin and those friends and family she loved. No matter how busy she was, Clara would always save time for Wednesday lunches with the girls. Clara is survived by her son, Jason Adams; daughter at heart, Deanna Rathje; and grandchildren, Ryder Adams and Hannah and Ashton Rathje; and numerous other loving family members. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
