Clara Casey

Clara Elizabeth Nichols Casey, 86, of Hopewell, died Tuesday, August 02, 2005 at John Randolph Nursing Home. She was a life long resident of Hopewell. Mrs. Casey was a retired Inspector for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl A. and Elizabeth Burrel Nichols, her husband, Jesse William Casey, Sr. two sons, Carlton N. Casey, Sr. and Gerald T. Casey, brothers, Kenneth Nichols, Paul Nichols, and N. Shannon Nichols, sisters, Ethlyn N. Walker and Edna N. Crabtree. Surviving are her daughters, Susan C. Beck & husband Joseph of Richmond, Va., and Ann C. Parr & husband Kenneth of Prince George, Va., her sons, Carroll F. Casey & wife Judith of Hopewell and Jesse W. Casey, Jr. of Chesapeake, Va., daughters-in-law Doris Casey of Richmond, Lynn H. Casey of Hopewell, grandchildren, Johnna L. Casey, Speedy, Theo,& Tasos Casey, Andrew Casey & wife Laurie, Chad Casey, Dana Davis & husband Jamie, Stephanie P. Hagee & husband Keith, Ty F. Parr, Casey L. Longest, John Daniel Longest, Carl Casey & wife Christine, Timothy Casey & wife La?Crecia, Great grandchildren, Madison & Ashlyn Hagee, Keegan & Tiernan O. Casey, Noah Woolard, Gwen Casey, Sisters, Dorothy N. & husband Dr. Warren Jones of New Bern, N.C. , Marian N. Whitehead of Colonial Heights, Va., sisters-in-law, Marge Nichols of Hopewell, and Charlotte Nichols of Warrenton, VA., a brother, Leland Nichols & wife Faye of Prince George. Numerous nieces & nephews, friends, nurses, aides & volunteers at John Randolph Nursing Home. The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005 from 7-8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 5, 2005 at 10:00 AM in the funeral Home Chapel with Mr. William B. Harper officiating.
