Clare Leighton Crites

Clare Leighton Crites, 75, of McKenney, VA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2019 after a brief illness. Clare was born March 20, 1944 in Prince George, VA to the late M. Wilson and Ella Mae Cox. She was preceded in death by her sister, Glennice Taylor. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry Lee Crites; her loving children, Tammy Lynn (Norman), Randy (Tammy), and Alan (Tara); adored grandchildren, Tabatha, Wayne, Magen, Taylor, Aiden and Brenna; a sister, Mary Massey and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Southside Regional Medical Center for their kindness and dedication.
