Clarence Bell, 63 of Hopewell, passed away on January 13, 2011 with his family by his side. He was born December 21, 1947, in Wytheville, VA. Clarence was a graduate of New River Valley College, and retiree of Phillip Morris.
Clarence was one of Godâ??s children and has witnessed and touched the lives of many through his lifeâ??s journey. He was an active member of Crater View Baptist Church in Petersburg, VA.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lydia Bell. Three children and their spouses; Clarence and Jenny Bell, Donna and DJ Brenizer, and Tracey and Lance Costley. Also nine Grandchildren; Alex Brenizer, Cody Brenizer, Kyle Brenizer, Luke Costley, Nash Costley, Alora Lincoln, Robert Lincoln, Hannah Bell and Seth Bell, five siblings; Frank Bell, Susie Peters, Charlie Bell, Patricia Sitler, and Wayne Bell, and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6PM to 9PM on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, January 17, 2011 at the chapel with Pastor Raz Stephens officiating. Interment to follow Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens in Prince George.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Crater View Baptist Church 626 Graham Road Petersburg VA, 23805 or any charity of your choice in Clarenceâ??s name.
