Clarence Fields

Clarence Fields, 89, of Sutherland, VA, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Mr. Fields was the son of the late Kelly and Judy Lewis Fields; and was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Fields; and three sisters, Dora Wade, Nora Cannon, and Margaret Milroy. Clarence retired in 1995 from Brown and Williamson Tobacco after many years of dedicated service. He was a devoted Christian and was passionate about sharing Jesus' love with everyone he could. Mr. Fields is survived by his wife, Irene V. Fields; a son, James Fields and wife, Brenda; one daughter, June Fields Bryant and husband, Steve; and his daughter-in-law, Rosemary Fields. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Southlawn Memorial Park, South Prince George, VA. The family is being served by the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contribtuions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Clarence Fields.
