Clarissa Venice Simmons

Clarissa Venice Simmons of Chester, VA, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. She was 20 years young. She is survived by her mother, Lisa Lewis Simmons; father, David A. Simmons; brother, Carl A. Dandridge, Jr.; sister, Amanda R. Simmons-Polanco; and a host of family and friends. Clarissa was a lead teacher and manager-in-training at Young Chef’s Academy in Henrico, VA, and a full-time student at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chester Chapel. We request flowers be sent to the funeral home.
