Claude Whitmore

Claude Wayne Whitmore, 65, of Chester, passed away Friday October 24, 2008 at McGuire Veterans Hospital. He was the son of the late Hoyt A. Whitmore, Sr., and Alma Wheelhouse Whitmore, and was predeceased by a brother Ronald P. Whitmore. Wayne loved to fish, cook, and work a garden. He was a veteran of the United States Army and is survived by his fiancé Patsy Warren of Chester, brothers; Phillip L. Whitmore and wife Sandra of Colonial Heights, Hoyt A. Whitmore, Jr., and wife Myrtle of Dinwiddie, sister; Carol F. Weiss of Chester, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday October 27, 2008 at the Chester Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
