Cleo Summey

Cleo Elizabeth Summey, 89 of DeWitt died June 28, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Claude C. Jordan, Sr. and Reecie Elizabeth Dudley Jordan. She was the widow of Harold Baxter Summey and the loving mother of three sons, James W. Summey of Columbia, SC., Henry B. Summey of Pasadena, MD., David C. Summey of Edgewater, MD. She is also survived by four sisters, Floy Pettyjohn, Jewell Hale, Jerline Ray all of Athens, GA., Irene Bush of Virginia Beach, VA., one brother, Claude Jordan of Hapeville, GA., eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son with a visitation to follow until 8:30 PM. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am July 28, 2004 at Arlington National Cemetery.
