Clifford Phillips

Clifford Arnold Phillips, 78 of Petersburg, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010. He was the son of the late William A. and Anna Starker Phillips. He was predeceased by his wife Dolores Gay Phillips. He was a United States Army veteran and a retired employee of Kings Barbecue for over 55 years as a meat cutter. He is survived by his loving granddaughter, Tanya Phillips Taylor of Dinwiddie; two grandsons, David, Jr. and Jesse; three granddaughters, Samantha, Jennifer and Mandy; seven great granddaughters, Summer, Cheyenne, Toni, Savannah, Maeleen, Autumn and Lelia; four great grandsons, Giovanni, Nathan, Jeremy, Jr. and Rodney; one son, David Phillips, Sr.; and two sisters, Evelyn and Gwen. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 pm Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Robert Livesay officiating.
