Clifford Edward "Bucky" Rice Jr.

Clifford Edward “Bucky” Rice, Jr., 52 of Dinwiddie, VA passed away on April 23, 2015. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Clifford Edward Rice, Sr.; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Steven W. Traylor. Bucky was a member of the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge and Pine Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and riding his motorcycle. Bucky is survived by his two sons, Stephen E. Rice and girlfriend, Justina Slaughter and Richard A. Rice; his parents, Margaret and Thomas Traylor; one sister, Lisa M. Elder; a brother, Glen W. Traylor, Sr. and wife, Dena; two nephews, Gregory A. Elder and Glen W. Traylor, Jr.; and former wife, Donna Gwaltney Rice. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Southlawn Memorial Park, with the Rev. Rodney Jenkins, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Bucky’s memory.
