Clinton Lee Griffin, Jr.

Clinton L. Griffin, Jr. 26, of Sutherland, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Chippenham Hospital as a result of an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Adella Swimeler of Dinwiddie; and paternal grandfather, Phil Himes of Colonial Heights. Left to cherish his memory is his fiancée, Victoria Mayton of Dinwiddie; son, Jackson P. Griffin of Mechanicsville; baby boy, Grayson Lee Griffin, due in March 2019; father, Clinton L. Griffin, Sr. of Colonial Heights; mother, Kelly Tavenner and husband, Chris, of Sutherland; brothers, Ryan Tavenner of Ft. Bragg, NC, and Ashton Tavenner of Sutherland; grandfather, Paul Griffin of Salem, Oregon; paternal grandmother, Patricia Himes of Petersburg; and numerous other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
