Clyde Hagan Jessee

Clyde Hagan Jessee, of Chester, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Clyde and Ida Lee Jessee. Clyde is survived by his wife, Linda, of 49 years; son, Brian Clyde Jessee and his wife, Vickie; daughter, Brianne Jessee Blick and her husband, Donnie; son, Eric Christopher Jessee, Sr.; and sister, Judy Page. He had no greater joy than being "PopPop" to his grandchildren, Jordan, Jillian (husband, Jacob), Eric Jr., Kayla, James, Reagan and Laney. After graduating from Hopewell High School, he completed 3 years at Piedmont Bible College, studying for Christian ministry. He served 6 years in the Virginia Army National Guard. His early working career was in the grocery industry with Safeway Stores, The Village Market of Powhatan, and he retired as a truck driver for JB Mulch of Chester. Clyde actively followed Jesus, was a war movie buff, and loved spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at J.T. Morriss & Son - Chester Chapel, with visitation at 1:00 PM and a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Officiating pastor is Rev. Pat Fiordelise of Kingsland Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service at Centralia Cemetery. A reception for family and friends is being provided by Kingsland Baptist Church at 8810 Perrymont Road, Richmond, Virginia 23237.
