Cody Blaine Lasher

Cody Blaine Lasher, 26, of Chester, VA., passed away Monday, January 6, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jannette C. Sutton.
Cody was an avid fisherman and loved fishing with his dad. As a huge Baltimore Ravens fan, he also enjoyed watching football with his dad. He was a 2011 graduate of Thomas Dale High School, where was also on the wrestling team. Cody had numerous friends and loved them all. After graduating from high school he worked in the heating and air industry.
He was born in Richmond, VA., and survived by his parents, Billy Lasher, Jr. and Jenny Lasher. He is also survived by his brother, Kevin Lasher and wife, Melinda; grandmother, Joann T. Lasher; grandfather, William Charles Lasher, Sr.; nephews, Gideon and Oliver Lasher; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2020 At J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Chester, VA; where a service will be held, 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 with the Rev. Floyd Braswell officiating.
