Colby Crutchfield

Colby Dalton Crutchfield, 13, of Carson, VA, departed this life on Sunday, April 27, 2008. He was a seventh grade student at J. E. J. Moore Middle School in Prince George. Colby is survived by his mother, Hope Newton Crutchfield and her devoted friend, Warren Dale Roberts of Stony Creek; father and step-mother, Leroy Charles and Nola Crutchfield of Carson; brother, Zachary Crutchfield of Carson; maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Jacob Woodrow and Nancy Newton of Boydton, VA; paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Lillian and Bill McKissack of Alabama; and a host of other relatives and devoted friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rachel Newton and paternal grandfather, Leroy Crutchfield. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 1, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
