The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 31st at Western Heights Baptist Church.

Connie Gayle Glasscock Robertson, 61, of Sutherland, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Laurence M. Glasscock; and brother, Lawrence Leigh “Pee Wee” Glasscock. Connie was a retired beautician. She was very loving and caring to all of her family. She always collected coupons and would mail them to her niece and nephews along with a personal note. They were like her own children and her greatest love was her family. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Jimmy Randy Robertson; mother, Evannah Thomas Glasscock; nephews, Larry Glasscock (Sheila), and Luke Glasscock (Heather); niece, Brooke Glasscock Dimaio (Chris); sisters-in-law, Donna Glasscock Archer, and Linda Robertson; brothers-in-law, Wayne Robertson (Tamara), and Billy Robertson (Jackie); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and two black labs, Zack and Zoey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Western Heights Baptist Church, 24416 Cox Rd., Petersburg, VA 23803. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the church.
