Constance Sue Hale

Constance “Connie” Sue Hale, 66, of Church Road, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin J. and Bernice J. Childress; and her husband, Dennis E. Hale, Sr. Connie was a member of Ford Volunteer Fire Department for 19 years and worked for Dinwiddie County Public School System for 32 years. She is survived by her 2 sons, Dennis Hale and wife, Barbara, and Spencer Hale; 2 grandsons, Austin and Aaron Hale; brother, Alvin Childress; niece, Amber Shires; and nephew, Willie Childress. The family will receive friends at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A graveside service will be held at Blandford Cemetery on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.
