Cynthia Hughes

Cynthia Ann Hughes, 57, of Hopewell passed away August 11, 2010. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia and was Co-owner of James River Contractor. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Malcolm L. Green. Surviving are her husband, Russell E. Hughes; mother, Nettie McMinn Green; daughters, Michelle Sars , Wendy Goniwicha; grandchildren, Abbie Sars, Haley Goniwicha, Taylor Goniwicha; step-daughter, Melanie Hughes; step-grandchildren, Cody Moore, Trip Moore; sisters, Juanita Williams, Meta Williams; brothers, Donald Green, Malcolm Green and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. The family will receive friends Friday, August 13, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, August14, 2010 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
