Michael Douglas Lewis, age 51, of Chesterfield, VA. died Sunday, July 2, 2006. Mr. Lewis was currently employed by Verizon as a Cable Splicer. He was a member of the Richmond Shag Club & the Ray of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church. He also enjoyed fishing, playing golf, playing the guitar and was quite an accomplished karaoke singer. He was predeceased by his father Sidney F. Lewis. He is survived by his wife, Connie G. Lewis of Chesterfield; one son, Eric Parnell and wife Shiree of Chesterfield; a grandson Austin Parnell; two daughters, Gina M. Crider and husband Rob of Front Royal, VA, Jenny L Hilliard and husband Jon of Richmond, VA; three grandchildren, Logan Crider, and Jordon and Jacob Hilliard; a mother, Lucy H. Lewis of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Bobby A. Lewis and wife Judy of Chester; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Thursday July 6, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.
